Kids’ School Clothing Needed – Please Bring Donations August 29/30
Our parish Social Ministry will be collecting children’s clothing/shoes for special education/teachers at Riverside, Diven, Fassett, Beecher elementary schools. These wonderful teachers keep clothing available in case a child comes to school in torn, dirty, or smelly clothing or wrong-sized shoes which can make it difficult to run and play along with their classmates.
We are seeking the following, either new or gently used school-appropriate clothing and shoes for pre-K through 2nd graders and some older students:
· shoes/sneakers kids’ sizes 12, 1, 2
· clothing sizes 4T – 14/16 & mens small/medium (socks, t-shirts, underwear, shirts, pants, sweatshirts, sweatpants, leggings, jackets)
Please drop your donations in the boxes at both churches marked school clothing collection on the weekend of August 29/30.
